Fan Guide

Here you will find answers to many frequently asked questions about our events. Please review these guidelines to help prepare for your trip to our venues. We look forward to hosting you and hope this information enhances your visit to our events.

Admission

  • Front Gate Adult —— $10.00 ($2 discount for seniors)
  • Children 6-12 ———- $5.00 (5 & under free)
  • Pit pass —————- $25.00

ATM
There is a ATM located on site inside the Pauline Davis Pavilion next to the concession foyer and also, in front of the cafeteria. The next nearest ATM is a short drive in town at any of the local banks. Click here for a listing of local banks.

Concessions
Souvenir and concession stands are conveniently located in a mezzanine adjacent to the ticketing area behind the main grand stands in the Pauline Davis Pavilion.

Dogs
Dogs are not allowed in any areas of the facility. Only seeing-eye dogs, or dogs used to assist disabled guests, are allowed in the fairgrounds or the parking areas. All guest entering the fancily with animals other than seeing-eye dogs, or dogs used to assist the disabled guests will be turned back at the front entrance and directed to a local kennel. (Strictly enforced as per State of California regulations). Click here for a director to local kennels.

Stadium rules
There are no outside alcoholic beverages, No beverages in glass or can containers allowed anywhere in the Fairgrounds or campgrounds. You may bring in soft drinks or water in plastic containers only. No large Ice Chests allowed. You may bring in a 12 pack cooler or a back pack as long as it would fit under your chair. All small coolers, back packs and hand bags will be searched for unauthorized material.  Strictly enforced as per State of California regulations)

Earplugs
Earplugs are available for purchase at the concession stand behind the main entrance.

First Aid Locations

  • NRA, Inc. show office at the main entrance by the ticket booth.

Ice Sales
Ice can be purchased at the main food concession stand each race day through out the event.

Event Information
Event information, including facility maps and weekend schedules, is available at the NRA, Inc. show office at the main entrance next to the ticket booth.

Lost and Found
Found items are taken to Guest Services located at NRA, Inc. show office. Items are kept at Guest Services until the conclusion of the event weekend. The NRA, Inc. Main Office handles all unclaimed items beginning the next business day.

Fan Assistance Patrol
The Fan Assistance Patrol provides FREE service for NRA, Inc.  guests to and from parking lots and seating areas. The knowledgeable staff will also provide you and your family with all the information you need to make your day at the races a positive one! Look for the Fan Assistance patrol through out the race site.

Smoking
Smoking is NOT permitted in any seating area or any where on the fairgrounds.

Ticketing Customer Service
Guests with questions regarding their tickets should visit Guest Services. Guest Services is located at the main entrance in NRA, Inc. show office and open from 1pm to one-half hour after the conclusion of the day’s racing.

Will-Call
Will-Call is located at the main entrance to the race arena. Will-Call is open from 1pm to 7 pm each day of the event.

Guests with Disabilities

Accessible Restrooms
All permanent restroom facilities at Tehama District Fair are wheelchair accessible. Permanent restrooms are located behind the main grand stands as you enter the facility just to the left past the ticketing and registration area.

Electric Convenience Vehicles (ECVs)
Disabled guests may operate single-person electric convenience vehicles at Tehama District Fairgrounds.

Parking – Enter Main Entrance Gate 1
You must have all of the following to be able to park in the lots designated for our disabled guests:

  • Disabled placard or special identification license plate
  • Disabled identification card
  • Driver’s license matching the name of the disabled guest on the identification card

As entering the Tehama district Fairgrounds, follow signs indicating Kart Races leading you to the Pauline Davis Pavilion race facility. Once at Gate 1 travel straight ahead and observe the marked disabled parking on the right.

**Please note: NRA, Inc. staff as well as the Tehama County Sheriff Search & Rescue Officers will be checking for the appropriate credentials and reporting those using faulty placards. Per California State Vehicle Code 4461 anyone caught trying to use a placard that does not belong to them is subject to, at minimum, a $250 fine. The handicap placard will also be confiscated.

Seating Information
Wheelchair and companion seating is offered in designated seating areas. Representatives will be available in all disabled seating sections to provide assistance.

Service Animals
National Racing Association, Inc. recognizes the importance of service animals in assisting guests with visual and other impairments. These animals are welcome throughout the facility, but must remain leashed and harnessed at all times.
